At the begining, WoW have 8 races in level 60, and 13 races until now.
The Burning Crusade added Draenei for the Official alliance and Blood elves for the Official horde.
Cataclysm added Worgen (altered humans) for the Official alliance and Goblins for the Official horde.
Mists of Pandaria added the Pandaren playable race which can be either player faction.
